IEP/504 Education Advocacy
BEAMR provides one-on-one support to families navigating the IEP (Individualized Education Program) and 504 Plan process. We act as a guide and advocate to ensure students receive fair accommodations, services, and resources in school. Our team helps parents:
- Understand their rights under special education law.
- Prepare for meetings with schools by reviewing evaluations, documentation, and goals.
- Participate confidently in IEP and 504 meetings with a trained advocate at the table.
- Follow through after meetings to ensure the school is implementing agreed-upon supports.
Our goal is to make sure families are not alone in this process and that every child has the opportunity to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally with the supports they deserve.
School Partnerships
BEAMR partners with educators who are already working hard to support their students. Together, we provide additional tools and perspectives to help address the unique needs of children with IEPs and 504 plans. Through training, coaching, and open communication, we strengthen the connection between home and school, ensuring parents’ insights and student goals are fully supported. These partnerships honor the dedication of teachers while giving them practical strategies to build stronger relationships with families and create inclusive, thriving classrooms.
